Tanya Lafferty is an award-winning personal stylist and image consultant, trained by Europe's top image consultancy Colour Me Beautiful in 2008. She is an Affiliate Member of the Federation of Image Consultants and works as a full-time image consultant. Following her Colour Me Beautiful training, Tanya qualified as a Bridal Make-Up Artist with the Jemma Kidd Make-Up Academy in London and was invited to return as a guest speaker at their Professional Make-Up Artist course. Her work includes giving advice to individuals and groups, in-store promotional work for retail businesses, as well as talks and presentations to clubs and networking groups.  She is also a volunteer at the 'Look Good ... Feel Better' workshops, at Belfast City Hospital, which teach female cancer patients techniques to help restore their appearance and self-image after treatment. Tanya was delighted to be a guest on Carolyn Stewart's U105 lunchtime show, in December,  to advise listeners what to wear to their Christmas Party.

Tanya has a university background with a Bachelor of Science and Masters Degree. Prior to training with Colour Me Beautiful, she had a successful career working in Marketing & Branding for a few of the world's best brands - Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and Guinness. Following awards from the International Direct Marketing Association and the Irish Direct Marketing Association, Tanya decided to set up her own company in 2008 combining the two passions in her life - fashion and branding - enabling women in N Ireland to confidently portray their own personal brand.

Tanya's enthusiastic approach to personal styling and natural ability to make people feel good about themselves, has meant the majority of her clients come to see her as a result of personal recommendation and they all leave smiling!

When she isn't working she loves walking her dog by Strangford Lough, reading Vogue & Red magazines, enjoying a glass of wine with family & friends, dancing and travelling.  She's a qualified interior designer too, so get some ideas for your home while you're there!
